Welcome to the Irish Greyhound Skillnet blog!

We hope both members and non-members will find this new avenue for information and discussion, useful. Over time, we hope to provide you with a regularly updated, thought-provoking, informative and useful channel for communication and discussion. Many members have expressed and interest our providing them with further web-based solutions for infomration dissemination and social networking. What better alternative than a blog? On an even more frequent, though micro-compartmentalised level, we are simultaneously launching a Twitter feed: GreyhoundSN. Between our main website, blog and Twitter, we earnestly hope to provide our members (and any other interested parties) with news and tips for and about, the world of greyhound racing. Watch this space trap!

Well done to the Greyhound Skillnet on moving into the world of Blogs and Twitter. I hope that the blog will gain some interested followers.
Just to start the ball rolling, I would like to say that it is a shame that the Irish government are reducing their support for Skillnets generally and for the Irish Greyhound Skillnet specifically. We need this training. Shame on you :(
